My role

UI designer in education team – creating learning material for users

Results:

Educational content is especially sensitive to design decisions, because key metrics like information retention are difficult to measure directly. Instead, I focused on proxies such as cognitive load and drop-off behavior, which strongly indicate when users feel overwhelmed or disengaged.

After multiple iterations and testing different content structures and learning flows, I optimized how information was presented: reducing unnecessary complexity, improving pacing throughout the lessons guiding attention throu visuals.

As a result, I managed to reduce the user drop-off rate by 4.3%, helping more users stay focused and engaged while learning.

For me, this project was a clear example of how thoughtful structural design—rather than visual changes alone—can directly improve learning outcomes and user behavior.
